Yungboota, born Desmond Post, is a 14-year-old rapper from Lexington Mississippi. He started rapping at a young age writing his songs in a notebook at the age of 8. He always had a passion for music but didn’t know how to find it, until 2018 when he started rapping at a neighbor’s studio with a friend. In late 2020 over the pandemic, he found his sound and then started taking it seriously in early 2021. He came up with the name, “B00ta,” from a TikTok user name he made up, but then changed it to “yungboota” for a more recognizable brand.
